Listening to George Harrison's Brainwashed - seems oddly appropriate for what is going on in our mainstream press both here and across the world. Is Egypt's freedom movement of the disenfranchised middle class being co-opted? Gone are the middle class from the conflict replaced with a lot of kneeling and praying. That's religion and here we go autocracy swapped out for theocracy and freedom gets further buried by a different set of rules to enforce. It makes me want to hurl. Where were these guys a few days ago. I'm so sick of the power elites in religion and in commerce and their non-productive power struggles. The rest of us the majority of us are live and let live types but its always the assholes vying for power. What a bunch of douche bags.
As the new congress tries to legalize date rape and make the world safe for polluters where is their jobs bill? Not to worry democracy and capitalism aren't the same. The majority realize we have to have planetary discipline if we are to survive as a species.
