Written a few years ago after sailing through the Caribbean. #ElSalvador went through some horrible times with a healthy dose of US and Russian intervention. It sure would be nice if the powers that be would just let the people live in peace and do right by their civilian populations instead of fleecing them and enslaving them and making them sick.
